The Mountain Home Arts Council is proud to present Chilean multi-instrumentalist, composer, and songwriter Nano Stern on Tuesday, Oct. 1, at Mountain Home Church of the Nazarene (https://www.facebook.com/share/pCBxS69e8dq45dXa/). Doors open at 6:30 pm and the program begins at 7 pm. Tickets are $10.00 for Adults, $8.00 Seniors/Military and $5.00 for Students, available at the door.
In a world shattered by war and instability, beauty stands as a stronghold of hope. “Aún creo en la belleza” (I still believe in beauty) is Nano Stern’s latest album. In it, the shadows, and lights of this world of ours become music, and beauty alone stands as our guide and inspiration. Nano sings about the beauty of everyday life; the beauty of a random smile, of mornings, of children, of poetry, of ritual. Armed with his virtuoso guitar and his staggering vocals, Stern embraces concerts as if they were rituals. His performances take you on a journey in which the folk roots from his native Chile are combined with contemporary sounds to create a unique musical experience.
Stern will also be performing for Mountain Home High School students earlier in the day.
