Join the Fitness Center for a FREE climbing opportunity for kids with special needs. Specialized equipment and volunteers will be available.

Courageous Kids Climbing will be conducting a FREE opportunity for kids between the ages of 3 months and 103 years with special needs – physical or intellectual – to experience rock wall climbing. This opportunity will be held at the Fitness Center on Mountain Home AFB, Idaho. Participation in this event is limited to those individuals who have access to the installation. Event organizers will NOT be sponsoring individuals to enter the base!

Attached is a registration packet for the event along with a flyer. Simply stated, we can accommodate anyone with special needs, regardless of challenges, as long as they weigh under 300 pounds, the weight limit of some of our equipment.

We are also looking for a few volunteers who would like to come out and help coach the climbers. You do not have to be a rock climber to help at the event!
